In all the G430 fairways, Ping have developed Carbonfly Wrap to deliver more distance by positioning the CG closer to the force line to maximise ball speed, resulting in higher, longer carries.

Facewrap Technology and Spinsistency combine to deliver more distance and spin predictability while offering numerous options to ensure proper gapping throughout a golfer's bag. The lightweight composite crown wraps into the heel and toe sections of the skirt, creating weight savings of 10 grams which are reallocated to achieve the lower the CG and increase ball speed.

To bring more consistent spin performance, the faces of the fairway woods are engineered with a complex face curvature that modifies the roll profile, low on the face where the loft decreases. The composite also plays a role in the pleasing sound. A tungsten backweight extends the perimeter weighting to ensure forgiveness. Loft is adjustable ±1.5° and lie up to 3° flat from standard using the 8-setting Trajectory Tuning 2.0 hosel.
